Hi Guys

In the summer i put a toilet in the shed with a saniflo (Great for the kids rather than running in the house with dirty shoes)

Now winter is coming Obviously both will freeze will this cause me any problems,

If it will cause problems how can i get around it

Cheers

Empty pipework, cistern, toilet pan and Saniflo of water for December - March. Unlikely it would see much use then...

hi,could you tell me how well your toilet works in the shed,i have a bar in my garden and want a toilet in so people dont have to come through the house all the time, its around 20meters from the sewage system so this is the only thing i can think off but was worried also about the pipes freezing, any help about this or if anybody has any better idear of what i could do would be helpfull

He means he has a bar in his garden - a small enclosure offering a variety of light ales, lagers, spirits and wines. Peanuts and crisps too, if you're lucky.

Just curious about how regularly this is going to be put into use to warrant a separate WC. Take it you have running water, and a sink etc?

Anyway, for what it's worth, think I'd be inclined to extend the underground drainage to the vicinity of your bar.

only really used at the weekends, but when we have a party on they can be 20-30 people all coming through the house, the bar itself is below ground level (garden is on a slope) it wouldnt be practical to extend as soil stack is on the front, bar is at the rear, and have a solid concrete floor in the kitchen,i have thought about a chemical toilet but dont know about how regulary i would have to empty it,and the bad smells

no water down there at the moment, but when i did the kitchen i dug a trench and ran a pipe through the floor for a tap at the rear of the house so i could just run a pipe down to the garden from there
