Can anyone advise if there are french door designs in Alluminun or UPVC which open out beyond the the frame and back on the the wall?

Eg : beyond the standard 90 degress? -
we've got an opening of 1800 and had intended for the door to open back out onto the wall - but have been advised that is not possible because of the hinges ?? - don't really want wood due to maintainance and location.

Feedback please ...

You are not limited by the hinges, but rather by the setback of the frame within the opening.

My new UPVC french doors open flat to the wall or window in my case. The only thing that stops them is the exterior cill of the adjoining window.
I have had to put hooks on the outside to stop it banging back and damaging the cill.

I thought they were quite common.
