It looks like the French have voted against Le Pen, rather than for anyone else.
Maybe they would have even voted for our Jeremy against Le Pen!

Nice to see a neo-fascist party given the boot.

Even Mr Putin and Mr Bannon couldn't fix it this time.

Two to one against is decisive enough. Ninety-nine to one would have been better.

Some on here claimed the tide was turning. Just seems like an RWR blip in terms of Trump et al. Gonna be a lonely old place this Brexit lark.

Maybe the far-right are being exposed for their lies, deceit and insincerity. Or in Le Pen's case, downright fraud!
Maybe the investigation into Le Pen's misappropriation of €3.4M EU funds will be first job on Macron's list.
The European parliament has accused Ms Le Pen, a French presidential candidate and MEP, of paying FN party staff with EU funds which it says should only be spent on European parliamentary assistants.

It has demanded Ms Le Pen pay back nearly €340,000 (£290,000) and, faced with her refusal to repay the money, has said it will start docking her salary in order to recover the funds.

Really? Maccy wants to punish the UK so a proper Brexit is becoming more likely. He also intends to modernise the employment laws...Good luck with that! I wouldn't plan a motoring holiday in France for a few years.

Here we go since we are all posting comic media as fact.. http://www.thedailymash.co.uk/news/...lion-people-vote-for-a-fascist-20170508127219

Must be true, I read it on the net.
You are not very good at this "supporting your assertions with reputable sources" lark, are you.
You appear to be the very type that read something on the 'net, and believe it.

Let us look at your (one and only) source that you have provided to support your far-right views:
The Daily Mash is a British satirical websit providing parodic commentary on current affairs and other news stories. Neil Rafferty (a former political correspondent for The Sunday Times) and Paul Stokes (former business editor of The Scotsman), created the website in 2007 and remain the lead writers....
The publication has garnered praise for its absurd, scatological humour and insightful political satire, ...

It took all of ten seconds to find out that!

Perhaps I can give you a few pointers:
I do agree with you, Firebrand, a link to a website is not evidence.
It is, however, on this occasion, a substantiation by a reputable source that supports and reinforces the original point.

To take an analogy, I could state that E=mc², and provide a link to Einstein's theory. It would not be evidence that E does =mc². But it would be a support from a distinguished source that the point I was making is correct.

Similarly, if you could "post a link to a website that "Proved" all kinds of disgusting things about you" from a distinguished and reputable source, we might accept your assertion.

"I shall have my website man design one in the morning if you like" would not really be considered as a distinguished or reputable source!

What I normally do is to look behind the usual pages and see who they are, who funds them, who they represent.
Can you provide any evidence or suggestion that your suspicion is warranted?

It is not difficult.
Now if you want, you can explore other associated organisations. As you say: "Google is your friend."
Now see if you can find any reputable sites to support your assertions. You have already said you can remember them!

So instead of giving us your incessant, unsupported opinion (except by scatological websites), how about finding some reputable sources that support your opinion!
