I’ve just cut some of the parquet boards for a tile insert and when taking up the loose ends, some have pulled some of the levelling compound up with them (as per photo).

not tricky to patch up with a bit of spare levelling compound but i think it will come into contact with the oak parquet a bit and a bit may flow underneath (only a small bit).

will this cause issues or will this small bit of contact be ok with the wood?

thanks
