This problem relates to an own brand fridge/freezer available in Spain (New Pol Solid Ice SI 171) so I don't expect anybody to have specific knowledge about it.
The problem is that the freezer part works fine but the fridge is not cooling at all. The appliance is in a holiday home so it has been used intermittently. When the problem first arose a local repairer said that gas had leaked and re-gassed it. This only worked for about six months and the process was repeated. Another few months down the line and the problem is here again.
I thought that in cheap fridge/freezers (which this was) there would just be one motor which controlled both sections. Please can anybody shed some light on this problem?
