Fridge Not Cold

Hello,

I have a hotpoint rf175mg and today on the hottest day of the year i've noticed that the fridge is not cold at all, the freezer is fine, i notice that at the back of fridge part there is a lot of frost which i'm defrosting, the fridge sits in a utility room which gets very cold in winter and very warm in summer could this cause the fridge to be hotter ?

More likely due to heavy use , not ensuring door is closed properly or worn damaged seals .
