I'll keep this short and sweet.

Model: Frigidair FRS26R2AWA

Issues: Fridge constantly runs, fridge/freezer extremely cold, fridge is around 20 degrees. freezer is well below 0. I Recently replaced the EVAP fan motor, and PC board after a surge blew them. Now the fridge is up and running and cools just fine, but never shuts off. and as far as I can tell, does not go into defrost mode.

When I turn the temperture control knobs for the freezer and fridge to 0 I can hear the damper closing or trying to close? it makes clicking and grinding noise. comes from the pcboard and the damper unit.

So im thinking either, the defrost thermostat needs to be replaced, or the damper unit. or both? what are you guys' thoughts.

thanks for any help!
