The flame on our gas cookers oven wouldn't go high,so i assumed it was the thermostat,i replaced it with a new one and the flame was still the same.Had to buy the full valve because the thermostat is incorperated inside of the valve, would anybody know what the problem could be?..thanks in advance

Yes it`s a well known fault,but as you don`t seem to be qualified to work on gas appliances(judging by your post),I can`t tell you what it is,because I assume you would try and rectify it yourself.Thereby putting yourself and everybody in your house in danger as you have done by fitting a thermostat.
