I went to wipe down my step this morning, its a combo of bricks and tiles,
see link for pic.

I was only using 'water' on a cloth and noticed the paint was just comming off on to the cloth. The front step now looks a dull and needs a bit of a lift.

Whats the best way to prep the front step and what paint should I be looking to use ? Worried that rubbing the tiles down would just scratch them up.

PS yes I know I need a new door mat

Thank you
Bob
