Front wall recommendations

Hi looking for suggestions for the front wall of my terraced house.
Initially I wanted get someone to rebuild it but was getting quotes over £1.5K so now thinking of either getting it painted or rendered.

Would any brick acid help?

Clean and repoint not an option?
Need the correct pointing mix so you don't trap moisture.

Rendering can trap moisture so you need the correct sort.

Repointing will tidy up the appearance but not convinced that acid based brick cleaner is effective

A brush down and careful repointing will do the job just fine by the looks of things.
Use the money you'll save on a trip somewhere nice.

Use mechanical cleaning.

Are companies that do it but go DIY.
