Hi, Probably been answered before but I would like your help please.
I have an oil fired boiler which has a simple on off timer controller. The boiler does not have a frost stat and I would like to fit one and also replace the controller, the present one does not keep time from one day to the next even if the power remains on all the time.
There is no thermostat on the cylinder and I would like to fit one at the same time.

Thanks for any help you may be able to offer.

Type of system would help.

Are there any zone valve and what type.

The system seems to be fairly simple, just bought the house and it came with the house!
No zones, feed and return pumped straight to vented cylinder.

I assume there are radiators.
Some pipe work involved here. You need a plumber!

Get an Installer to convert to Y plan or S plan when buying a control pack your installer will have everything they need including a digital programmer to repalce your ailing timeswitch

Thanks for your advice, it seems that there is more to it than I imagined. I will get the professional in to have a look.
