I've looked at wiki but can't find an answer to my problem. If it is on the site please point me in the right direction.
My central heating is powered by a Gloworm Ultimate boiler sited in the garage. The frost stat is mounted above the boiler and is currently set at 5 degrees C. I suspect this is a little high. Is there an 'industry norm' for a frost stat setting or is it dependant upon personal choice/system performance. Cheers.

I always set them at 5deg C. Ideally you should have a pipe stat, wired in series with frost stat, on the return pipe near boiler.
