Fuse board - EICR assessment

That’s never going to happen
Probably not - but who knows. It's certainly not beyond belief that some regulation will come to the electrical trade and, if that happened, I presume that only those who remained registered/licensed (i.e. not 'struck off') as electricians would be allowed to do EICRs (or any other electrical work!).
No it’s not. When you run a business you avoid customers who are poor or late payers
Of course it's a different issue. One obviously tries to avoid bad payers - but what has that got to do with the need for regulation of the quality of EICRs (which is what I was discussing) ?
Nonsense. Those are very poorly run businesses
Eh? In what sense is my daughter (and all her barrister colleagues) "a badly run business". They could, of course, justrefuse to dolegal aid work (a lot do!) but if they want to do it (so that people of limited financial means can get legal support), how could they "improve the running of their business" so as to address the fact that the government is taking a ridiculously long time to ppay them?
