Gainsborough 2000x energy - cold

Hi All.

As of yesterday our Gainsborough shower (2000x energy) stays on the 'reduce temp' setting only as the led indicate. Fails to heat up any water at all, I tried all the settings low, medium, high. Even opened it up (isolated) can't seem to spot anything obvious.

The day before I did replace the hose with a newer high quality item, I put the old one back on today - still the same....

Any ideas?

Check the tco for continuity.
More likely activated the tco due to the hose you fitted.

I checked the TCO for continuity, seems ok. I refitted the old hose too, still the same.

what is SEEMS OK ?
has it gone open circuit ot not ?

When tested, there was a short at the TCO terminals - not open circuit.

What do you mean a short at the terminals ?

It has not gone open circuit.

Measured resistance is 0.2 ohms.
