Installed a Gainsborough Stanza shower around December 2009. Now the PRD valve is passing and Gainsborough say that it is not covered by warranty as it could have been due to someone getting the hose kinked. It cannot be reset and will cost £12 everytime plus labour to replace it. Cannot afford to keep changing this everytime it blows off. Last shower lasted 4 years! Is this normal? Are all electric showers now made like this? Ta

all electris showers are fitted with prd's.
you shouldn't have to keep changing it.
they only blow if the hose becomes restricted/damaged internal hose,
the shower head becomes blocked with scale or someone covers the shower head while the showers running.
