Hi,

We have a 9.5 SDL shower. I noticed today that water was coming out of the back of the unit and took the cover off to find water ****ing out of the outlet pipe above the hose. I figured out either the hose or the show head needs replacement because when removed the water doesn't overflow.

Question can I use standard parts at B@Q etc or do I need to get specific branded itmes

Nope its the pressure relief valve which has gone , basically its a little silicone ball that sit in a hole and pops out. Probably lost by now.

Gainsboro` are crap for this and you should only ever use the shower head supplied and keep it free from scale.

Contact manufacturers for part easily fitted 2 little screws for housing

Thanks. I just ordered the outlet pipe which apparently includes the pressure relief valve:-
