I have bought and installed with a few headaches along the way and a refresh of basic electronics course I did a Galaxy 60 alarm panel with a Mk7 Keyprox. The one thing I cant find in the engineering manual or keyprox instructions is how to program a keyfob to the system. It is a lazier option rather than keying in the code but as it has the facility thought I might use it.

Any help is appreciated

Thanks

Hello andy

In engineer mode, enter 42 ent - 1 ent

delete the existing code

hold down the A key and press 1

you will hear a double beep, hold your tag to the reader within 5 seconds of this beep

the tag number will show on the display followed by a single beep

press ent to save the tag number.

Option 8 in menu 42 must be set to (timed set)

another thing,

it depends on the software version, as the whether the G60 will accept Prox code use

John

but you cannot program user codes in engineer it has to done via the user

to check software version number, from engineer, diplay then A to version number

then option 62 to enable prox enable, (if available)

then exit engineer and follow previous instructions from

or Galaxy remote access software,

All help very much appreciated

honeywell dont make galaxy gold now as the galaxy classics are obsolete, so god only knows where you'd get that from now.

Got a few copies myself but cost me lots of £££ so not in the habbit of giving them away.
