game screen problems

Hi I like to play games on my pc but the latest game bespelled which was bought doesnt appear on the screen properly. The left hand side of the game is on the right hand side of the screen and visa versa and when you take your mouse to the end of the screen at the right it it disappears and returns by coming into the left hand side of the screen can anyone tell me what to do about this please.

Are you using the latest drivers for your graphics card?

What resolution are you trying to run the game at? Try reducing it.

Some games require you to have your desktop resolution setting the same as the resolution you have chosen in game.

thanks to those who replied about the split screen when I go to play some games but I feel rather silly as I dont know how to get to the different resolutions, or what to set them at. Please help me once again

Right Click on your Desktop > Select Properties > Click Settings from the tab menu and you will see a screen resoloution bar.

Post back with your current settings and what is possible from draggging the bar across either way.
