Gap filling and smoothing concrete garage floor

It's rough around the perimeter and I know I can't use floor leveller where the car goes as it'll crack, but is this my best bet for filling joins etc and raising the edge around the edge of the garage floor prior to painting?

I'd use Gripfill - it's designed to work on concrete. Not sure how easy it would be to paint with your floor paint though!
