Gaps in floor

Need some help, got loads of those sort of gaps around my hall way and need to put carpet grippers down, whats the best way to fill these gaps without it cracking when I nail grippers down
 
Unless you change the boards for new ones, then you'd use 2 part wood filler, but yes, it might crack if you use nails in it, so you'd either drill pilot hole, and then either nail or screw the grippers down.
 
You could always fill those gaps then bond the gripper in that area?
