Hi all, first time on here so please be gentle!
I've a Liftmaster 3 channel 433MHz rolling code remote, one channel of which operates the garage door, funnily enough. I would like to use one of the spare channels to operate an LED floodlight and would like to know if I can just buy a universal receiver, or does it have to be a Liftmaster unit?
I.E., can "learning" receivers learn ALL remotes in the same frequency band or is there any encryption which prevents this?
