Hello, I was hoping that someone could help me position the vertical expansion joints for my garage. It's going to have cavity walls, made of 100mm solid dense concrete blocks (215x440) on both leaves with a 50mm cavity.
Garage dimensions - 10980x5300
Does it make sense to put them alongside the window, next to the jam? Or would this be unsafe?

Thanks in advance.
Toby.
