I agree and also the correctly rated OSB could even be said to be a better product as it is manufactured to a standard, whereas the quality of ply can vary greatly. Thats quite a serious roof Xenon bet that was fun felting round all those roof lights.
I just had a certified roofer very briefly inspect the work. He reckons it just needs lead flashing all around, with no modiciation to the the single layer of felt, to upgrade the roof to something that would value £1500 ex VAT I paid. Hmmm..
