Hi All,

I have just brought a property where the previous owner started to turn the garage into a utility room. They have removed the garage door and installed a Double glazed unit but the flooring and walls have been left untouched. I understand how to insulate the walls but whats the best thing to do with the floor.

I want some kind of insulation but not sure what or how?

Any help is appreicated

Look on the kingspan website. If you give them the measurements they will advise on correct insulation to abide with building regs, which you need if you want this room to be officially converted. You don't have to insuate the walls if the cavity is already insulated, drill a hole and have a look.
