Garage Partition Wall + Pitched Roof

Hello,

We are in the process of a garage conversion and are at the point where we are looking to put in the partition wall.

For the building regs this wall leading into the remainder of the garage needs to be a fire barrier. Most of the garage conversion is below a flat roof, but there is about 1m below a pitched roof (it's a tandem garage).

There are some pipes in the pitched roof coming from the boiler so ideally we are looking to keep access to those above the conversion, but i'm not 100% sure what would be acceptable. I thought a diagram would make things easier so...

We would obviously prefer option 1, but horizontal fire barrier?

Double board the remaining garage ceiling with two 12.5mm layers of fire board.

We were also looking to keep the rest of the garage roof (as it's used for storage - ladders etc), and the rest of it is about 5m long (the drawing didn't do it justice). So ideally it would be option 1 or 2, preferably 1 if allowed.

Any advice on what is allowed? I will be speaking to the building inspector later on this week.
