I am having my small garage converted to a home office. The walls will be clad and insulated with a suspended ceiling. I have been told an electrician would need to visit twice, once to feed the wiring into position and then return to attach the fittings.
How much should I expect to pay for this? I will probably need a new feed to the garage from the main box in the bungalow approx 5m away to an rcd protected consumer box in the garage, 4 double sockets and a feed for two lights in the ceiling. An existing outside feed would need to be connected to the consumer unit.
I do not have a clue how much I should be paying, I am already on a tight budget and do not want to be overcharged. Any help or reccommendations would be appreciated.
