Hi
I'm getting round to sorting my garden out and noticed the patio is quite high.
The height is level with the air bricks but there is a gap of about 2 inches to the edge of the patio.
Underneath the flags I think is a solid concrete base.
I am getting rusty angle beads inside my kitchen would this be caused because of the patio?
I'm thinking when it's raining the patio is above the DPM?

It should be 150mm below dpc level minimum. Often the dpc is level with the top of the airbricks, but not always.

Can you locate the dpc?

If not tell us how old the house is, is it brick or rendered and is it a cavity wall?

A photo would help too.
