Hello - we are hoping to get a new addition to the garden and have a builder lined up for about 04 weeks time. Image is attached.

We have been looking through permitted development today and think we are okay to build but wanted some advice - this forum seems to be the place! We know there are plenty of these threads which have been really helpful and believe that our 'raised platform' is permitted as it's less than 300mm from the highest point of adjacent ground.

However - we are building a solid bench and fireplace at the back of this - fireplace no more than 2500mm tall and footprint of the platform is much less than 50% of garden.

If this was classed as a 'building' under permitted development then we are okay to build - but we wonder if anyone has any knowledge of what makes a 'structure or erection' as opposed to a wall?

If anyone could give us a little peace of mind that this is permitted development then that would be appreciated hugely!

Thanks
