Are there any rules as to how close a gas boiler can be to the GAS meter.

no minimum distance from gas meter to gas boiler, but you need 25mm clearance from any cable to any gas pipe and 150mm clearance from any electrical switch to a gas pipe unless completely insulated

remember doing a job and they had to be no electrical equipment within 2m of the meter installation
