Gas connection?

Hi,

Can anybody confirm whether this is a gas pipe?

We are looking to replace our existing electric hob. Underneath the hob we have the pipe below, we're hoping this is a gas connection as we want to convert to a gas hob if we can use the connection below.

If it looks like a duck and sounds like a duck....

Only way to be sure is to have it checked out, will take an RGI 5 minutes, or to trace it back and see where it's fed from.
