Were having a balanced flue gas stove fitted and i have a question regarding the insulation in the cavity wall. I am altering the chimney breast myself to make it deeper and need to know if the insulation where the flue will go through the wall needs to be removed or not as im not sure how hot the flue pipe gets, I'm assuming it will be insulated to stop it getting externally hot. Can anyone advise please.
