Gas Hobb

Hi Folks

One of the knobs on my gas hobb has stopped turning.
Its gone really tight and does not turn when you try to turn it on.

I thought it was the cover so tried one of the other covers which did not help.

Anyone one got any ideas on how to fix this.
The gas hobb is made by Homark.

Gas tap has siezed.
No other way except to replace the gas tap.
