Hi there, looking for some advice around gas central heating installation.

I live in a block of maisonette flats and we are currently getting gas installed into the gardens from the main supply. Im looking to get gas central heating to replace our (useless) storage heaters, however, I was wondering if installation of gas central heating, radiators etc is an invasive process. I still have a lot to do to the property, ie plaster walls, replacement carpets and laminate flooring etc and was wondering if its worthwhile putting off this work until such times as I have the gas installed into my flat.

Any advice/experience of this would be much appreciated.

The heating and gas should be carcased first before any finishing work.

Usually plastering the walls should be done first but it all depends in the exact scenario.

Best to choose a heating installer and discuss it with him on site!
