Hi all

I am just removing the old gas wall heaters in my flat. We had central heating installed and the gas pipe to the heaters was disconnected. Each heater has one of those right angle reducer type thing, which I have now removed. What I am left with is a pipe with a thread just beneath the walls surface.

My question is should this be blanked off (just incase someone in the future decides to reconnect the old pipe work) or can I just plaster off the end of the plaster to leave a nice smooth wall

Many thanks in advance

Pete

I would just plaster over it and if in the future a new gas line is required it should be installed from scratch

Thanks Stumpy

Will plaster in the old pipework. When/if we move I will leave a note next to the Gas meter, just in case.
