just curious on my gas pipe in kitchen, guy has chased the wall out and connected the pipe ready for plastering. am i right in thinking that the pipe needs protecting from the plaster with some type of conduit etc to prevent leaks?? advice please before i mention it to guy who is (gas safe registered)

It would be good practice to shield it with a metal capping, but even that would not stop nails getting through to it.

If it is copper then it should be taped and marked it is gas.

I would always use plastic coated copper.

thanks for quick reply, hes just left it bare and i dont want to sound like im being too critical of his work. as long as its legal then everythings ok :D
