Hello everyone

I am chasing the walls to hide radiator pipes and i am using 10mm layflat speedfit pipe. I want to keep the depth of chasing to a minimum to make the job easier therefore i was wondering what is the best way to protect to the pipes so that they are not in direct contact with the plaster and heep the required depth to a minimum??

which option do you suggest?

1) Use Pipe conduit over the pipe? these increases the depth required a lot.

2) use expanding foam to cover the pipes and then level the foam and plaster over it.

3) fill the chasing with bonding plaster or cement or any other material and make the wall flash then plaster over it.

No 1 is the proper way to do it.

Have you tried using expading foam? Good luck with that.
