Another demonstration of our national and Euro politicians' stupidity. GPs refusing to register foreigners who have no right to use the NHS, is a breach of their human rights and inhumane. When will the madness end?

So how come when I go abroad with my family on holiday, I have to take either my NHS card so the country concerned can claim costs back from the UK government, or we have to take out private medical finance?

This can't be right, surely? It must be some curious Daily Mail b@stardisation of the truth, or highlighting an extreme and rare occurrence???

They can come here and register for treatment. Wonder if you would get the same generosity in their country? Think we know the answer to that.

Health tourism has cost the NHS £40m in the last 4 years. Austerity cuts one minute, then throwing money away on treating foreigners the next. No end to the stupidity of our rulers.
