Georgian style windows designs

Hi all,

Before I approach a windows installer/manufacturer.

I want new windows which I plan to fit myself with the help of my builder. I want the georgian bars integrated in the glass but how do you decide on configuration. ie the number of squares in each pane of glass

eg I have the same size windows as most on my street as they are all the sameish build. Some have windows where they are 5x2, and some are 4x2.

I need to make sure the windows I order are what I want

Ideally when you get a quote you should have a drawing of the window, if it's what you want there you go if not then ask them to change it
