Hi folks,
I am going to have a worktop, sink and taps replaced.
I am thinking that if I source a worktop, sink and taps then get a plumber or kitchen fitter to fit them that might be the way to go.
Is that a good plan? Would it be better if I get the worktop and leave the professional to get the sink and taps so that they are compatible with each other and the existing pipework?
I've seen some very flimsy sinks in rental properties. What thickness of stainless steel sink is appropriate to support the taps without them rocking back and forth every time they are used?
What sort of costs can I expect?
I can remove tiles before the professional does the work, and re-tile afterwards. But I don't feel competent enough to do the plumbing.
Thank you, David
