I'm building a garden room with floating floor.

I'll be framing off a 2 course brick wall. which is 140mm high (2x65mm +10mm mortar joint).

First question is If I use 100mm insulation and 18mm flooring then is it ok to finish 20mm below the brick? I would probably run the DPC between the brick courses.

Second question: should I use just one course where the external doorway is? this would leave 65mm brick+45mm (2x4). so 110mm?
