Hi there

I am looking at re doing my door frames and skirting boards this weekend due to freezing weather - no chance to go camping.

I have seen varied reports about dulux trade brilliant white satin wood. Can anyone recommend this or a similar produce that won't yellow?

I have some old water based gloss in e garage but like the satinwood finish.

The door frames are in good condition just need freshening up . Regards

As far as water based satin goes it has a long drying time so would benefit you as regards to getting a flatter finish, have seen a lot of good reviews on here about johnstons aqua satin but yet to use it. I personally like crown satin but it bloody drys quick

'Aqua' is gloss. You can get a DIY Johnstones Satin from The Range for about 12 quid (water based) and it's dead good for skirting.
