Hi everyone, was wondering if you can help me….. I got a Renault Kangoo 1.5 TDI 2002 plate….. Had fault code (was the sign for the coils warming up, with like a zig-zag above it) come up whilst driving… Next day wouldn’t start, one got going, was fine, until went cold, then same again… Changed glow plugs, 3 of 4 knacked, problem now solved… But cant get rid of fault lights, my mate, has machine to do it, but explained that Renault have done it in unconventional way, so the average computer wont wrk on it, making you got back to garage…..GGGggrr

Right how can I get rid of it? (without taking bulb out! Or going to main dealer) Is there anyway I can reset it, or pull main battery followed by what ever battery supplies the CPU and make it forget code? Any help would be great….

Ask any good small garage the has an OBD2 code reader. They will clear the codes for you, and you will always have them if you get caught out in the future.

£10 to £20 should cover it
