I hope this is in the correct forum.

I am fitting a white glass kitchen splashback using silicone.

Can anyone please explain which type of silicone to use.

I have Google it and have mixed results. Does it have to be neutral curing ? And does it need to be a special heat resistant type?

Thanks alot

I have always just used a decent brand of clear silicone. Clear is stronger as it has no pigment.

Could use sanitary one as it cures fast but is a couple of quid more.

I'm probably a bit paranoid but after fitting one I put a cushion in front of it just in case it comes loose before curing.
