We have very hot water in the tank. However, in order to get hot water in the bath I have to run the hot water in the sink in the bathroom. When this is done the water really comes out hot in the bath. The shower which is in the En-suite only ever produces luke warm water no matter what you do.... Any ideas please :(

The only common thing to all the hot outlets would be the blending/mixing valve :?

Are you certain the store is fully up to temp? If not check the primary pump is working ok.

What is the temperature of the water in the basin when that is run on its own?

I can only guess the blending valve is sticking and needs a bit of a push to get it to move.

Easy to replace in theory.

They can probably be cleaned up with acid rather than replacing.

Replacement is easy. Gledhill spares are still in business!

Thank you I'll try it and let you know

It isn't the BM blending valve at all.

Put a non-return valve on the hot supply to the shower valve.
