Gloss Skirting or Paint Walls first? ? ?

Hi guys.

Which is the best thing to do first.

I would have thought glossing the skirting boards and then do the wall painting with emulsion.

But i have been reading conflicting advice.

Any input would be great.

start at the top of the room and work down.

Because of drips and splashes.

If you are painting the walls and not papering with finish paper,always remember its top, middle and bottom.
Get your ceilings out of the way, then do your walls, and your skirtings last, you can undercoat in between, but your top coat, gloss, satinwood etc goes on your skirtings last.
