hi im hoping someone can help me out asap with an answer to my problem

recently bought a danfoss tp5000-rf sx wireless thermostat (rx1)

now my numpty mate has had a go at installing the thing as he's a apprentice sparky (or moron more like)

now hes connected the low valtage control connectore to 2 of the teminals if i remember right it was 3 and 4 and put the mains live in 2

and blew something

after reading the instructions myself and seeing the BIG part that says dont connect to mains voltage thats what the donuts done in affect now i have had a good look at the back and on th 230v control panel pcb the 2 small i think they are fuses look have popped/burnt exc im sur eyou know the score

well anyways i am now left with no CH but have hot water

is it possible that this pcb is the only thing that needs replacing or will it have done more damage?

Uploaded with ImageShack.us[/img]

the 2 things that i can see have blown are in the circle

forgot to add the display shows fine indicating the boiler pressure and the burner ignites when there is hot water demand but the CH control know does nothing the burner doesnt light and it still shows the boiler pressure

given the above description do you think it is likely that it is only the 230v control interface pcb that needs replacing?

any help appreciated

thanks

That will be a new board then.

Look on the bright side at least you can have a bath in the meantime.
