glow worm 30 ci - fitting a programmable thermostat? can I ?

Hello!

Just had a glow worm 30 ci combi fitted! Very impressed

(Especially the state of old boiler inside and the watertank - surprised the bottom hadn't fallen out yet )


My Question


can I fit a programmable room thermostat?

If so which type - some seem to be battery some mains ???

I currently have just a usual thermostat on the wall in the hall - the dial a temperature type!

I THINK this is connected by 2 wires up to the airing cupboard and hence where the new boiler is

yes you can. but as a can remember it has a built in clock, you will have to set that to constant and fit a danfoss digistat it is powered by batteries and switces contact free, so it will switch 230v
