How do I install a siemens RDJ10RF in Glow worm Betacom 28a

Hi,

My son has had a new combi boiler fitted, unfortunately it came pre-installed with a basic manual type time clock so I bought him a Siemens EDJ10RF wireless programmable timer/thermostat.

Please can someone help with instructions on how to wire the thing up or do Glow worm themselves do a programmer that fits into the boiler that will work with the betacom 28a

Terminals L N E of the controller receiver connect to the same on the boiler main terminal board, at the lower right of the boiler.

Terminal Lx of the controller receiver is linked to L.

Terminal L1 on the controller connect to RT on the boiler main terminal board.

All above wiring must be suitable for 240V mains.

The link fitted to the 24v terminals (RT/24v) must be removed. This is on the Ebus connection board, underneath the L-shaped flap and below the boiler rotary control.

Just a quickie, do you mean connect terminal Lx to the main live?

Lx on the control receiver to L on the control receiver, which must also be the main L on the boiler. You'll need triple+earth cable for L Lx N and E.
