Hi Guys

So Ive instaled a hive previously on my own boiler and it was a straightforward job enough.

Now got a hive combi for a glow worm betacom 30c to install for a friend.

There are no external controls at all on the glowworm. Can anyone help me out with how to wire it up please? Think I have an idea on how to but just need confirmation before I go ahead with it.

Cheers

when you lower the front control panel of the boiler you will see two connector blocks on the left hand side with a link between them, remove the link and these then go to between terminals 1&3 on the hive , you also need a L&N for the hive but DO NOT put a link between L and 1 in the hive or you will blow the PCB in the boiler, if the boiler has an existing time clock this will need to be set to constant or linked out, a length of 5 core 0.75mm2 flex is your best friend for this job can be bought by the metre at B&Q amongs others

as I said buy a few meters of 5 core and take the L&N from the boiler terminals and use the other terminals for the switch and common, very easy, dont worry about the earths the hive doesnt need it
