Hoping someone can point me in the right direction ?

Firstly I`m not sure if this is relevant but I returned from a few days away and when I tried the boiler the fan had seized. I have lubricated this and it works fine when I select HW only.

I have checked the room stat and its working fine.

My thought was to put a link in the time clock plate to see if the time clock is not switching. Its a danfoss FP715si (5 wires connected to plate). Which "pins" do I need to link ?

What else could I look for - or do I wait until Wednesday for the engineer as it could be the PCB ?

Calm down, diverter valve is probably sticking, wait for engineer to arrive and rip you off something shocking
You can change actuator head yourself if you can swap wiring like for like,it`s not difficult.

Diverter valve channel? on a gravity/pumped system?????.....Stick to collecting rent.

You sure it's gravity hot water OP?

Its a gravity hot water, pumped heating.
Boiler is a. Glow worm ultimate.

What controls do you have on the Central heating pipework
Perhaps just a gravity check valve or maybe a 2 port motorised valve?
If the latter it would most likely be a fault there which a replacement head would fix.

I'm as sure as I can be (that its gravity HW). How do I check ?

There is a 3 way valve. Does the bolier wait for this to change before starting ?

I didn't realise the boiler would wait for the valve to change.

I just removed the valve and replaced and it appears to be working. I also have a spare valve which someone gave me so will change if I get a further problem. Looks like the boiler insurance got away with it again !!!
